Product Information of Cold-rolled Sheet
Cold-rolled sheet in coil form is produced by removing rust from
hot-rolled sheet by „pickling“ it in a weak acid solution, then
washing, brushing, drying, oiling and unrolling the sheet and
finally performing cold-rolling by passing the sheet through a
reducing mill under pressure and winding it into a roll.
Carbon steel coil is mainly used for manufacturing complex shape,
high mechanical performance requirements, but in the process and it
is difficult to use forging and pressing methods to form the more
important mechanical parts, such as automobile gearbox housing,
locomotive and vehicle couplings and so on.
